I was honestly stunned at what I had been missing…

May was indeed a better hearing month for me, thanks to you! AND I can testify to the need for a yearly exam at minimum! I thought my hearing was about the same. But when I went for an annual check-up, and subsequent follow up, I was honestly stunned at what I had been missing… I guess it had happened to me over the entire year, a little at a time, so I didn’t notice the loss. To see if she could improve my hearing, first Julie did all she could for my current hearing aids… then she scheduled them to be sent for a “check-up” of their own. Then to help me hear while my aids were getting checked, she fitted me with a more current model – a demo set I could use until my old ones were returned. She put them in my ears and then she spoke. It was just a normal sentence, but I could not believe the difference in the clarity of the words in that very first sentence…

Almost instantly I realized how much I had missed of what my children and grandchildren had said over the past year… not to mention my husband! I was so glad to hear that much better that I’m budgeting to update my hearing aids. I’m not missing all those important conversations anymore!
