It is hard to find a more serene place to live in the state of Washington or a better view of Mt. Rainier than South Hill, WA. After a military road was built through the area in the 1850s, logging camps, farms, and hunting grounds sprouted up along the way and our community became a stopping off point for travelers and traders throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Our community has the unique distinction of being targets of World War II innovative balloon bombs used by the Japanese in World War II, but our peaceful collection of residential neighborhoods and parks, like Heritage Recreation Center, South Hill Community Park and Meridian Habitat Park and Community Center hardly draw any international interest today.
